Only handles that match this type are displayed. Specifies the type of handle that you want to examine. If this parameter is 0, handle information from all processes is displayed.

If this parameter is -1 or if you omit it, the current process is used. This parameter must refer to a currently running process on the target system.

You can use the process ID or the hexadecimal address of the process object. Interprets the handle as a thread ID or process ID and displays information about the corresponding kernel object.

If Handle specifies a single free handle, it is displayed even if you do not set this bit.ĭisplays the handle from the kernel handle table instead of the current process. If you do not set this bit and you omit Handle or set it to zero, the list of handles that are displayed does not include free handles. (The default value is 0x3.)ĭisplays free handle entries. This parameter can be a sum of any of the following bit values. (Kernel mode only) Specifies what the display should contain. And if you decide to try out Instacode, at least you will only be out $10-30 if you decide you don't like it.The !handle extension displays information about a handle or handles that one or all processes in the target system own. They have a test page for codes, although they aren't complete codes. But if you already have CodeSource, I would consider giving Lockcodes a go.

#GOOGLE HANDLE INSTACODE SOFTWARE#

The other software in the CodeSource suite is nice, too. Still, it's nice to have an arsenal of tools at your disposal. Both Lockcodes and Instacode are cheaper than CodeSource, but only up to a point. At least Lockcodes is a once yearly payment. I want to, but I don't want to pay multiple subscriptions.

#GOOGLE HANDLE INSTACODE PC#

I haven't had a chance to use Instacode on PC yet. Lockcodes also has a key blank cross-reference which has saved my ass on numerous occasions.

Lockcodes is also updated by the community, so it feels very complete. Or you can have it just display in mm and do it that way. I usually go for CodeMax, but on the chance there isn't a DSD for that, there's a good chance Lockcodes will have a Blackhawk card you can use in your Blitz or whatever. One thing I like about Lockcodes is the ability to specify what type of space and depth data you want it to display in.

Some of the extra features are nice too, like transponder info or car opening info.

#GOOGLE HANDLE INSTACODE CODE#

You can put in a code and specify the key, so you won't pull up 100+ results and have to dig through all of those. One nice thing about Instacode is the advanced search. $10 isn't a whole lot of money, but imagine having multiple locksmiths with multiple devices it adds up quick, especially if you have the $30 package. So if you move from PC to phone and back again 5 times, your account gets locked. However, if you use it on more than one device, you will get booted from the other device. Instacode has PC application as well as mobile OS options. CodeSource is the same, but it's different since it is a PC application. But the thing that pissed me off the most about it is that you can only use it on one device. I use CodeSource, Instacode, and Lockcodes.
